Why I Ride, Karen Lowitz, Globe-trotting Regulatory Affairs Gal

Jan. 8 2025 News By Tai Beldock

I was told a person should be capable of doing 3 things: (1) drive a stick-shift, (2) shoot a gun, and (3) ride a motorcycle. Back in NJ, my dad valiantly taught me to drive stick. When we moved to CO, I learned to shoot. Finally, I worked up the courage to get my motorcycle endorsement and haven’t looked back. When I ride, I feel joy like the dog you see riding in a car with his head fully out of the window, ears flapping in the wind, and a huge smile on his face.
