When I was 7 years old I have memories of my father buying a new blue 1973 Norton Commando. He was so proud and protective of that bike and would park it in the living room for the first few weeks in our second-floor apartment. Yes, second floor… he would bring it up the stairs each night to ensure its safety. We used to sit on the living room floor and he would tell me about every single part and what it did on the bike. I was hooked.

Over the years I actually gravitated to riding scooters, but more recently decided I needed to fulfill my dream to get a Triumph Bonneville T100. A bike I’ve always wanted. I ride in part because of the fond memories I had of my father, but also because there is nothing like being on the road on a motorcycle. It spurs feelings of freedom and focuses and to me is truly a moment where I become inspired by the open road and all that life has to offer.
